Google Pixel: Whenever you have heard about Google Pixel phone, you must have heard that there are a total of two phones in Google’s Pixel phone series, one of which is base and the other is Pro model. Google has continued this tradition with the first Pixel phone series of its lineup, but now according to the latest report, this tradition of Google may be broken.
Big changes expected in Google Pixel’s lineup
According to a latest report by Android Authority, not two but 4 phones may be launched in the Pixel 9 series, and perhaps no one had expected one of them. Actually, Google’s next foldable phone can also be included in the Google Pixel 9 series, which is surprising.
According to the information received by Android Authority, Google has prepared a codename for all the phones of its Pixel 9 series. These are as follows:
- Pixel 9 – Codename – “tokay”
- Pixel 9 Pro – Codename – “caiman”
- Pixel 9 Pro XL – Codename – “komodo”
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold – Codename – “comet”
Google confused the users
These codenames have also been confirmed by some software built for Google’s 2024 device. Looking at these codenames, it seems that Google is going to launch 4 smartphones in the Pixel 9 series, the fourth phone of which could be Google’s next foldable phone. However, this cannot be confirmed yet, because it is worth noting here that until this new development, Google had used the codename Comet for Pixel Fold 2. However, there is still no confirmation that Google’s next foldable phone will be named Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Google can also change its gesture.
However, if Google changes the name of its next Pixel Fold phone to Pixel 9 Pro Fold, will it benefit Google? This is an important question, in response to which some users say that this will prove to be a good step by Google. This will bring Google’s phones together. At the same time, some users say that this step of Google will not be right. This will make the Pixel lineup more confusing. Now it remains to be seen by what name Google launches its next foldable phone.
